The Importance of Defensiveness in Test Cricket

We spoke about how we wanted to play our cricket going into this series. And it could have gone either way on that last day, really. It's like they just hold pressure for longer, don't they? They're just so relentless. When you give them just a sniff, they take it. We had bold three maidens in the first Test against India. Sophie Eccleston was called Merlin because she plugged her in at one end and she just went and bold. If we could play another test match next week, this is where it'd be amazing.
