Putin's Response to Pragogen's Move to Moscow
Pragogen's men had already taken the city of Voronezh, which is about halfway between Rostov and Moscow. On route they were attacked by Russian helicopters but apart from that there was virtually no opposition at this stage to the advance on Moscow. Putin really has no troops that he can deploy to stop Wagner or to any force coming across his border, a deep penetration like this - or certainly none that he trusts to obey orders.
