What Year Did You First Learn About Bitcoin?

I think 2015 was the first year that I heard about it. And what year did you first hear about Bitcoin? What year were you really entering into the learning going down the rabbit hole? So this is where I had to draw on my anthropology field work skills because it was totally different culture. In academia, it's all about often the behavior that's rewarded is like being the smartest person in the room.
