Beliefs Can Be Contagious
A belief can be contagious. It can help other people think another way, even werhen if it's right or wrong. Part of the problem is because there is now so much information that the idea lie. I'm not saying that that doesn't happen for people who don't believe the conspiracy theory either. We all live in our echo chambers on various issues. But i think that because there is so much information out there, people who are inclined to ata conspiracy the you can very, very easily find it and then reinforce it. And attitudes become more stronger, more polarize. Small communities of people become large communities of people, and then then you have a movement.
