How to Transfer $35,000 to a Roth IRA
The Secure Act 2.0 will take effect in 2024, so not till then can you transfer money to a Roth IRA. The 529 plan must have been maintained by you for 15 years or longer. Any contribution made within the last five years is ineligible to be moved to a Roth IRAs.
