The Battle of Kheema
The battle further we're going to talk about now is of course where the current cemetery is. We have the Royal West Kent digging like mad under enemy fire and creating a defensive perimeter. The Japanese could see what the British were doing because the road was in full view of the Japanese from Nagahil coming up the valley to the ridge. And throughout the battle, rather, the entire ridge was overseen by the Japanese on Nagahil.
