The Importance of Whistling in Music

I feel like I don't whistle very well, but then again it's a skill that you develop with practice. My whistling is okay for my own purposes, but it is not a performance level whistle. If you have particularly favored examples of songs with whistling in them or favorite whistling performers, we'd love to hear from folks out there.
