The Fed Was Not a Fan of Libra
Powell said libra raises serious concerns regarding privacy, money laundering, consumer protection and financial stability. Less than a month after the announcement of the project, the fed had facebook executives over to further discuss libra. Powell also made the argument for bit coin in so far that it's a alternative to gold. And that's interesting as well, as it's a slightly more dovish tone than he had taken in the past.
