The Theurgy of Sosipatra

Yambukos lays out a philosophical system in which all the rituals of popular belief and stuff, popular practice can have an effectiveness and a philosophical justification. But I think also Yambukos is pointing to an elite, perhaps more solitary or more, let's say, private set of practices that are theurgy proper. Right. And this brings us maybe in a kind of reasonably decent segue into the kind of laid antique religious specialism that it seems to me, Sosipatra is inhabiting.
