What I Learned From Your Research on Expressive Writing
People who have had a major dramatic experience in their lives were much more likely to get sick than people who hadn't. Writing about dramatic experiences was associated with enhanced immune function and also reductions in doctor visits. And by generally positive ffacts, not always, but generally, that writing about upsetting experiences had this salutary effect on health.
