In 2000, Chris saved up for three weeks to buy a mini-disc player. He was convinced downloading music off the internet was too niche to ever catch on in the mainstream. One year later, the iPod launched and he bought an MP3 player instead. In 2003, while working as a producer at BBC business unit, he recorded his first radio interview. The head cleaning tape that I had recorded my entire interview of was a DAT tape. And it wasn't as good as we really didn't have as much time because there were so many people around.
