We see the world through a stained glass window made up of our beliefs, assumptions and preconceived notions. This holy hour is your chance to also read from the wisdom literature or to simply be with yourself. I began writing in a journal about ten years ago, and i have to tell you, it has completely changed my life. By journalling, you can spot patterns, you can build awareness. You can get to know yourself and build self knowledge. Each day becomes a platform for you to create a better one that allows you to let your past serve as a personal teaching tool.
Much of my personal leadership journey has been an exercise in building self-love.
...a lot of my healing work over the past 26 years has been a passion to accept and appreciate whatever it is that I am.
...my largest private dedication has been to excavate my weaknesses in hot pursuit of that which is my highest.
I’m sure you’re on the same path. I'm no better than you, of course. As a leader, producer or as a person. And for your magic, I truly honor you.
In my experience, the single best way to amplify self-love is to take better care of yourself.
Often, we are our greatest abusers. And when we increase the caring of our selves, we begin to sense the secret glory that rests at our base. And come to know all that we truly are.
You can grow in your self-care by:
...resting when you’re tired and enjoying life when it’s time.
...eating foods that nourish your spirit and upgrade your health.
...appreciating yourself for how far you’ve come and the person you now are versus always feeling like there’s more to do.
...not comparing your path and progress to anyone else’s. Because you’re precisely where you need to be.
...setting clear boundaries so no one ever disrespects you. Ever again.
...giving yourself permission to re-engage with your playful heart. And have a very good time.
