As a tour guide, i'm always double checking and reconfirming because i've got 25 people trip relying on it. So many travellers are bent out of shape because somebody else screwed up. And if you were just more pro active their screwing up wouldn't have hurt. Don't be mad at them for being disorganized. You're traveling in their zone. Skate through that by being well organized and thoughtful. Point number seven, highly social.
