This is not fordism or Taylorism. This is the introduction of a new general purpose technology on par with fire, the wheel and events in human history that have occurred from time to time which truly are transformational. I think it's definitely a basic technology which can be applied to many different things. We've seen other general purpose technologies. The steam engine was one of them. The mechanical technologies of the industrial revolution were another. But just because it affects a job doesn't mean it's going to eliminate that job. That depends on the economics. It's that thing that we keep missing.
