How to Disable Annotations on Youtube

youtube has introduced these cards which are just a little slide over that appears on the top while they work on desktop and mobile at least in my own experimenting they have horrific click through rates like a tenth. They called i maybe some of my channels aren't enabled for them but just looking at one of my channels i can't even see what they're called to disable them so maybe i don't get them in the youtube back end they're called sponsored cards.
