The Sea Change That Students Are Missing
In high school, the performance responsibility in large part falls on the shoulders of the teacher. When you get to college, that onus is no longer on the professor. It's now on the student. The extent to which you are willing to work, the professor will meet you. But if you're not willing to working, you fall by the wayside. I don't really think of myself as a teacher. I think of myself more as a tour guide.
