If you go back to basic problem solving, the analysis you do is dictated by the hypothesis you have. You can end up wasting a lot of time by doing an analysis if everyone is doing it. The word visioning workshop and strategy workshop will mean different things to different organizations. But i want to give you some general guidelines that can help you if you are stuck.
