I was there on that now famous day in 2007 when Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone to the world. My team and I were responsible for pretty much everything you hated about your first iPhone. Big thick concrete walls aren't friends with Wi-Fi signals. A room like a big metal cage is impervious to cellular connectivity. The scene outside the Fifth Avenue shop resembled a movie premiere only with smelly, unshaven people as the stars.
