Episode 29, Classical Theism Part 1 with Thomas Williams
The Reluctant Theologian Podcast
I Know Things, but I'm a Knower
classical theist says god is identical to his omniscience, because it can't be something separate from him. The difference between my knowledge and god's knowledge would be that i have mine contingently. I can lack it, i can have it, whereas god necessarily always has it. For then god must actually be what god knows, right? There. Its the necessity and the perfection of god's knowledge is really just the necessity and perfection of god’s being. Oh yes, that is a really radical claim.
