Shannon Dordie and her character Brenda Walsh were finally written out of the show. The exact cause or the final straw wasn't made public at the time. Many speculated, though, that it was because Dordie cut her hair short without notifying producers. Tori Spelling says when things got really bad on set, she asked her dad to remove Dordie from the cast.
