The Shock of 30, 22 and 2030

The headline target of 40, 45% reduction of global carbonized emissions by 2030 is very challenging to envisage a scenario in which that target is met. I believe that the shock of 30, 22 overall increased the likelihood of the long term 2050 target being met. But for 2050, when there is time for investment, there isTime for innovation. The shorter medium term disruption from the Russia Ukraine War and also from the supply chain disruptions that are still the heritage of COVID will be visible in 2030.
