The Problems With Joy
Jesus' vision for your life is to grow and mature you into the kind of person who is deeply joyful. The early church used the Greek word theosis which is translated into English as deification. That's the angle for you and I to become Godly or God-like or like God. Why would God ever pit obedience against joy?
