The American Dream Is No Longer the Same

The American dream has always been that you would do better than your parents. According to polls, that's no longer the case for most Americans. Donald Trump did not get to be president because of racism or misogyny or xenophobia. We are in an era where the real battle is between what I call authoritarian populism and progressive populism.
