IoT Product Development - What Are the Stages of Development?
IoT product development goes through four stages: exploration, validation, acceleration and commercialization. The further you jump ahead in the process, the more risk that gets introduced. Engineering is run ahead with a big idea but then catches up when it's time to make decisions about legal or regulatory issues. And so let's all think about those projects. If we run too far ahead on the technology track, we're running with a prototype,. maybe even putting something in the field.
