Mary, Queen of Scots was caught red-handed in a plot to overthrow Elizabeth. She was soon charged for her role in the plot and found guilty. A few weeks later, all of the plotters were executed, and Mary was found guilty as well. After she was beheaded, the executioner picked up the head by the hair, only to reveal that it was just a wig.
