Blessed Are the Merciful, for They Will Be Shown Mercy

Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy. Mercy is defined as compassion or forgiveness shown towards some one with whomt is within one's power to punish or to harm. When i think about blessing, i think about enjoying really good things. And jesus says, if you want to be blessed, you need to be merciful. A mercy is something that i want to receive. I want to be on the receiving end of mercy. But mercy isSomething that i challenge. Im a recovering people pleaser meant that there was sometimes where i i over promised and under delivered. By god's grace, i've grown, and am growing from that.
