Are You the Hero of the Story?

i was on coaching call recently, andee person i'm replacing is being promoted to a senior role. He told me he was quite nervous because the person he was replacing is a real hero. Well, there's a story unfolding and on you and your team. Your role is in this story between yourself and the team. And so it's really what i want to talk about to day was, you know, what role are you playing? And are you stepping into this hero role too much?"
