It was dosed interestingly at 500 milligrams every six hours for days one through eight. It then transitioned to every eight hour dosing on day nine and forward. This was compared to at least six mics per gig of Daptomycin. Because this is the FDA approved dose, the study could not mandate folks treating with anything higher than that. The lower bound of the confidence interval was a negative 7.1%, which was well within their pre-specified non-inferiority margin of 15%. All secondary outcomes were similar, including microbiological eradication, all cosmortality, new complications, et cetera. There was no relationship between success and MICs.
