How to Break Large Videos and Lectures Into Small Pieces

Mobile learning is sort of a pedagogical challenge to break these larger videos or lectures into smaller and smaller pieces that don't intimidate our students. So I think micro learning is something we have to talk about because it is where mobile learning really shines. But it's still something we can approach piece by piece and just sort of be curious and say, how can I break this one thing down?
