A big problem with physician burnout is there's of course all the the structural problems in United States healthcare system and so on and so forth but man talk about a teleactivity starting in high school. If you're a surgeon the surgery that you are incredibly good at over and over and over again and yeah there's just monotonous. There's also a shift that can happen that feels out of your control depending on what your job is, he says.
