The Uncanny of Family Stories
There is a way in which the repressed aspects or the things that are hidden in the family kind of haunt it unless they're worked through and talked about. There's this phenomenon, what's called the replacement child, even where someone will find out. And these are uncanny moments where we're suddenly like, oh, this is that me? Is it not me? Did I think everything is everything I knew about my family or lie? Well, yeah, maybe you called a lie, but maybe it's also something else.
