Working From Home Tax Relief - Should the Government Adopt It?
If you've worked from home, even for one day in a tax year, you can claim relief worth almost 60 pounds off your tax bill. It's worth twice as much if you pay higher rate tax. Andrew stevenson tweated to ask if he needs to claim his working from home tax break again this year. He already claimed it last year. M, i think probably it needs to be tweaked. There are certain issues that need to be looked out. But in essence, the government need to do something.
