The Importance of the Dead in Archaeology
Archeology is a constant problem with archeology. It's almost like your brain breaks after a certain point when you're looking at drawing of pre dynastic or early dynastic cemetery, because there are so many individual burials that the scale becomes hard to comprehend. And in a way, your heart breaks, because at the end of ta day, these are people. Each grave is an act of mourning and of grieving and of loss.
