Venezuela was a cocoa exporter in 17 hundreds, and then became an oil exporter after 19 17. But ever since the socialist came over and took over the country in 19 58, venes wel ha started faltering in its oil production. And eventually, by the time of the oil embargo, the hav been as well as doing badly because it has been in the hands of the socialist since 58.
