The Trial of Pwatu and Gill
Pwatu and Henrié, along with Gill's array, were sentenced to be hanged and burned on October 26th, 1440. Gill asked that he be hanged and burning first so that he might set a good example. The magician Pre-Lati was condemned to life in prison, because magic was very much illegal. Lemme Frey, the terror, hang herself in herself like a Nazi. Gilderay lived on as a French boogeyman for centuries. His castles became dark tourist destinations in the Breton region.
