I was thinking about how the way people speak in real life is so fucking bizarre when you really listen to it. I frequently put real things that have happened or real speech have overheard into scripts and stuff. But it's always the thing that people often say, oh, that's a bit unbelievable or that's, you know, too much. It's like you want, in drama, you're doing a version of real life that you're trying to organize and make real life less messy. Now, here's a segue for you. Is that what you were doing with your book, Katie, Delicacies, which I read and very much enjoyed? It's heavy, though.
