Measurement Is the Building Block of Developmental Conversations
Leaders need to codify that your role as a manager is to have these developmental conversations. You can offer surveys to say, my manager gives me the kind of feedback i need, but ihaven't, i'm going to beal got my old measurement problem. But even though they're very imperfect, i think one of the most important things that i consistently see when we run measurements with companies is how people feel about their managers.
