There are not a lot of differences when the application is small. And in that case, I would probably go for the LP ones as a simpler solution. If on the other hand, also if the coverage area is small, that maybe, you know, the solution may be shifting towardsLP ones. Also if you need very, very low energy consumption, that would also probably shift you towards LP ones. But in case of large number of nodes where you expect more performance and accessibility, these qualities give it towards mesh networks.
