Semtex is the most notorious plastic explosive in the world. It was invented by two Czech chemists, Radim Fugartko and Stanislav Brabera. In 2018, Maria Yostafiva spoke to their brother about his invention. Several hundred people are now feared dead after a Pan American Airlines jumbo jet crashed near the town of Lockerbie in Dumfries.
