I wonder if it could push more towards like oral defense. If you throw a student in front of class and say all right explain to us your 5,000 word essay on Abraham Lincoln we're gonna ask questions and push back and make sure you actually know the material We did that when I was teaching at eternity bobble college. It also lifts up the value of that human interaction as well.
