I Don't Think Bailey's Appie Can, but He Can.

There shouldn't really be a competition when Mac Jones returns and I don't think that there will be. All Bailey's Appie is done is shown that he's a viable option. And if he played poorly Mac Jones going forward and the Patriots were forced to bench him, then you do it. You cannot mortgage the entire team with preventable play at a position when you have an option that is better. If not the Patriots bet on the wrong horse but there's no volume of desperately poor play for the Patriots to refer to as "the greatest supplanting job in NFL or professional sports history"
