The Role of Technology in Pregnancy

I think what I've really noticed in a lot of the discussion around miscarriage and campaigning around miscarriage is that this idea that miscarriage has to be normalized or it has to be natural. So they're trying to kind of de-exceptionise miscarriage by saying miscarriage is normal, we have to normalise it. But for me, I have concerns about it just because of the ways that these terms normal and natural are so valueted in. They are mobilised, often kind of unconsciously, we're unconscious of the ways in which they're mobilised as ideal types. And so I kind of, my overall aim, I guess, is to try and smash the hierarchies of pregnancy
