An ORM is a system that maps data models to the language you're using. It can be really handy for people who don't want to pick one type of database, like Postgres or MongoDB. Prisma has been used on our new syntax site since it was first developed in 2012.
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott talk about the benefits and potential drawbacks of using an ORM on your next project, as well as what some of the popular ORMs are.
