The Importance of a Relationship With the Public
Do you still ache to be a pop star? I'd rather go back and make another film, write a book, try something new. There's no law that says band must do album tour, album tour until death. Partly the reason we haven't made an album for so long quite frankly is because after we did the last one, it didn't feel worth it anymore. We didn't feel like anybody was listening, maybe like some of our hardcore audience. But if the music isn't connecting with people anymore, I would rather do something that really gets me going.
