Ethiopia was a nation state that continued to practice slavery at least until 1931. The black world mobilizes to defend both the physical land and culture of Ethiopia as well as the sacred and symbolic land of Ethiopia, biblically speaking. And once again, the beginnings of world war, you know, as the boys tells us, always begins with colonial slaughter.
