The Importance of Play in the Present Age

The goal of life is not one where you keep pushing the boulder. It's one where you can put the boulder down and go play with your kids. Everything that we do to relax is centered around improving our productivity during work time. The labors of Sisyphus are a punishment. In working for progress we submit to a labor no less servile. And he highlights really well that we can't even play and relax anymore. How can there be play in a time where nothing has meaning unless it leads to something else? People who play live a life without purpose.
