Some liberal scholars think romans nine through 11 is just a sermon that was inserted later that paul preached on some other. And i don't think you guys would hold that, right? Theres there's a connection to romans eight here. My conscience testifies with me in the holy spirit that i have great sorrow and unceasing grief in my heart for i could wish that i self were a curse, separated from christ. For the sake of my brethren, my kinsmen, according to the flesh. It sounds like paul talking like jesus, in that he self sacrificially loves and willing to give up himself for the sake of his fellow countrymen.
