How to Create a Strong Magnet

Each of those magnetic domains are tiny magnets. There are three ways to get them to line up so that the overall material becomes a magnet itself. One is to whack on it with something heavy, which isn't a joke. Another is to place the material inside a strong magnetic field and make sure the material is in a north south alignment. And if it's a strong magnetic fields, it will start to realign the magnetic domains within your target material as they gradually line up with the magnetic fields direction.
