Theo Hacking in Ancient Literature

I think in the past, maybe we've called it Theo Hacking, and you see this in ancient literature quite a bit. I'm thinking now of an episode where he is sent to consult an oracle about whether or not to attack the Persians. And lo and behold, the additions to the cavalry work, the savings, despite being the ones who started the war by invading Rome, they get pushed into the river by and large destroyed. So yeah, you do have this, this, uh, this temptation or this, this phenomenon of those and wanting to make sure they click the right button so that they get the right result.
