The Artistic Child Will Look Here in the Box
In an experiment, artistic children were asked to look at a box from their perspective. But three quarters of them gave the wrong answer because they didn't take into account other people's beliefs. This is exactly what this special, innate mechanism allows us to overcome. So beliefs are more important than reality in these situations.
